All about Kory

Here's the highlights that might be most pertinent to why you're here (this is my portfolio site after all). I have been doing product design for over 15 years. I have spent most of my career focused on mobile app design and have had the privilege to work on apps that have been used my millions of users around the globe. I've done a lot of web design as well.

I have been managing designers and design team for the last 7 years or so and love to help guide designers as they grow and improve their skills. I also love to help guide product and product design as it grows and as the company learns more about what is expected by their users.

Outside of the work related stuff, I think I'm kind of boring. I live in Utah with my wife and four boys and our dog, Leo. We enjoy football (the kids play, I mostly just watch them and my favorite teams), and traveling. We haven't been a ton of places, but we love to explore and have seen some pretty cool things. My preferred method of escapism is reading. I like to dabble in lots of different things, so consequently I am nearly always surrounded by half-finished projects of one variety or another.
